Algerian Qatari Steel Welcomes the Provincial Secretary of the Jijel Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) welcomed the Provincial Secretary of the Jijel Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Ighil Djelil, as part of a working visit aimed at gaining first-hand insight into the company’s activities and industrial capabilities, while exploring opportunities to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two parties.
The visit included a tour of several stages of the production process, during which the Chamber’s Provincial Secretary was briefed on the industrial capabilities of Algerian-Qatari Steel and the nature of its activities in the iron and steel industry. The visit highlighted the company’s production capacity and its role in supporting industrial and economic activity in Jijel Province.
The visit also provided an opportunity to hold a working session with AQS executives, during which the participants exchanged views on a number of topics related to the industrial sector and economic enterprises. Discussions also focused on opportunities to develop cooperation, particularly in the areas of training and skills development, economic support and guidance, capacity building, and human resources development.
The visit comes within the framework of strengthening communication between the company and various local economic institutions, contributing to the development of institutional relations based on dialogue and the exchange of expertise, while opening new avenues for cooperation that serve both the company and its economic environment.
