Algerian Qatari Steel Participates in the Construction Products, Ceramics and Porcelain Exhibition in Batna
Algerian Qatari Steel (AQS) participated in the first edition of the Construction Products, Ceramics and Porcelain Exhibition, held in the Wilaya of Batna from September 19 to 22, 2026, under the theme “High Quality and Promising Export Prospects.” The participation reflects AQS’s commitment to economic and industrial events aimed at showcasing national production capabilities and strengthening the presence of Algerian products in international markets.
On the occasion of the exhibition’s opening, the AQS booth was visited by Mr. Abdel Salam Jehni, Acting Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, accompanied by Mr. Riyad Ben Ahmed, Wali of Batna, and in the presence of Mr. Samir Derraji, Director General for Export Promotion.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on Algerian-Qatari Steel’s products, production capabilities, and export potential. The company’s booth provided an opportunity to present its activities and products, while highlighting its contribution to supporting national industry and meeting the needs of the construction and building sector.
AQS’s participation in the exhibition comes within the framework of the growing momentum to strengthen the presence of Algerian industrial companies in specialized economic events, providing opportunities to engage with various stakeholders and business operators, while showcasing national industrial capabilities and products with potential for access to international markets.

It also highlighted the diversity and development of Algeria’s industrial sector, while opening new prospects for promoting Algerian products and enhancing their competitiveness.
