Algerian Qatari Steel Welcomes a Delegation from the Naval Forces Training School
As part of its policy of openness
and active engagement, Algerian Qatari Steel welcomed, on Monday morning,
November 24, 2025, a delegation of officers and trainee officer cadets from the
Naval Forces Training School of the Fifth Military Region. The visit aimed to
provide insight into the company’s industrial system and to promote the
exchange of expertise and knowledge.
The visit included a
comprehensive tour of several production units, during which company executives
and specialists delivered detailed technical explanations on the various stages
of the manufacturing process, highlighting the efforts made to ensure the
highest levels of efficiency and quality.
Direct Reduction Unit –
Control Room
The delegation was introduced to
the role of the control room in managing operations in real time, as well as
the monitoring of key technical indicators through advanced digital systems
that ensure the stability of the production process.
Melting Unit
Technical staff provided
explanations on iron melting mechanisms, raw material processing stages, and
the safety procedures implemented within the unit to maintain a safe and
efficient working environment.
Rolling Mill Unit
Visitors learned about the
shaping and rolling processes of various steel products, with detailed
presentations on production lines and quality control measures to ensure
compliance with international standards and specifications.
The visit concluded in a
professional and cordial atmosphere, during which the delegation expressed its
appreciation for the company’s technological advancement, emphasizing the
importance of such visits in strengthening cooperation and knowledge exchange
between the two institutions.
